Founded in 2012, the Institute of Sustainable Biotechnology aims to create a hub for research, education, and innovation in biotechnology with a sustainability focus. By connecting academic research with real-world applications, we foster a culture of learning that encourages students and faculty to think critically and act responsibly. It provides a unique enquiry-based learning opportunity for biosciences students and faculty from the AAS in Agricultural Technology, AAS in Biotechnology, BS in Biotechnology, BS in Biology, MS in Biotechnology, and PhD in International Biotechnology.
At the Institute of Sustainable Biotechnology, we identify ourselves with principles that reflect the value, discipline, dedication and commitment of our students and collaborators, whose efforts seek the development of innovative ideas in the field of Biotechnology.
